Sol & The Gang have officially entered a new chapter with ‘Little Things’, their debut single as an original recording act, released July 2nd via SOL RECORDS.
Written, composed and produced by J-Sol, the founder and creative force behind Sol & The Gang, the track showcases the collective’s soulful R&B sound while bringing a fresh dimension to a project already renowned for its electrifying live performances.
At its heart, ‘Little Things’ is a celebration of the details that make a relationship special. Built around a warm, romantic sentiment, the song finds beauty in the everyday gestures and imperfections that can mean more than grand declarations.
The track sees J-Sol and Asia Major share lead vocal duties, bringing their distinctive voices together to deliver the song’s warm, soulful energy. They’re joined by fellow Sol & The Gang performers J-Rod Sullivan on drums and Tom Diesel on keyboards, whose live musicianship adds further depth and richness to the collective’s sound.
For Sol & The Gang, the release represents a natural evolution for a collective that has spent years establishing itself as a dynamic live force. Having built a reputation for their high-energy performances, the supergroup are now turning their attention to original music, creating songs that capture the spirit and sense of community at the heart of the project.
That momentum has already seen the super group take their celebrated live show to some major occasions, most recently performing at the wedding of Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in Portugal. The high-profile booking further reflects the collective’s growing reputation and their ability to deliver memorable performances on some of the biggest stages and occasions.
Now, with ‘Little Things’ marking the beginning of this new chapter, Sol & The Gang are set to take their music on the road, with a run of UK and Ireland dates planned for this autumn. The tour will visit Dublin, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol, before culminating in a November 7th performance at London’s indigo at The O2.
