    Spice Girls Add EXTRA Dates To 2019 Stadium Tour Due to HUGE Demand

    The Spice Girls have added EXTRA dates to their 2019 ‘Spice World’ stadium tour after the first set of announced shows sold out within minutes.

    Tickets for the girls long awaited reunion tour went on sale at 10:30am this morning, with fans from around the world frantically trying to get tickets.

    Such was the demand that many found themselves waiting in online queues for lengthy periods of time, as well known ticket retailers such as Ticketmaster and Seetickets struggled to cope with the huge volumes of traffic accessing their site.

    The iconic girl group will now play extra shows in London, Manchester and Coventry, with the tour now kicking off at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on May, 29th instead of June 1st.

    They will also play two additional dates at Wembley Stadium in London, with shows on 13th, 14th and 15th June, and a further show at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on June 4th.

    Clearly overwhelmed by the positive response and demand for the tour, Sporty Spice Melanie C took to Twitter to thank fans for their support.

    ‘I know you’ve been bombarded with promo stuff lately…’ the ‘Never Be The Same Again’ singer tweeted.

    ‘But I just wanted to say I’m completely overwhelmed with the response to our tour. Wow! I did not expect that.’

    It’s been a BIG week in Spiceworld for Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Geri Horner and Mel B following the announcement on Monday (November 5th) that they were heading out on tour again for the first time in 11 years.

    Making appearances to promote the tour on HEART FM, the Chris Evans Breakfast Show and The Jonathan Ross Show, Spice Girls fans across the globe have been beside themselves with excitement at seeing their idols back together, with many praising their energy, chemistry and honest candour when discussing why Posh Spice Victoria Beckham won’t be joining them on tour.
