An extended version of ‘A Star Is Born’ is coming to theatres with 12 minutes of additional footage.

It was announced today that the film is being re-released this Friday (March 1), in 1,150 theatres in North America with the extended performances of ‘Black Eyes’, ‘Alibi’, and Ally’s a cappella performance of ‘Shallow’ (co-written by Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, Mark Wyatt). It will also include unseen footage of three songs; Ally singing ‘Is That Alright?’ in the wedding sequence; Jack in his studio singing ‘Too Far Gone’, as well as both of them writing a new, previously unreleased song ‘Clover’,

“It’s something we can both get over / Oh I still believe in love.” Ally sings “Time goes by / I’ll keep winning, keep losing until I die / Rain falls down / And I’ll catch every drop this time around” Jack follows.

This edition will only be in theatres for one week.

The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won one for best original song for “Shallow” this weekend (February 24). It grossed more than $425.4 million worldwide since October.
