Pop punk is far from dead! New bands are making appearances from all over and adding new aspects to this wonderful genre of music. One of the bands that are really making an impact? State Champs.
The five piece from New York is definitely on the rise. Just in the past two years the band has opened for both All Time Low and 5 Seconds of Summer, done a world tour with Neck Deep, went on Warped Tour, and released an incredible album. They aren’t stopping there though.
What do State Champs have planned?
They have announced their very own European tour for 2017! Coming up a lot sooner however, they are joining Sleeping With Sirens on tour along with Tonight Alive and Waterparks.
With multiple studio albums and EP’s out and available, we cannot wait to hear what songs will be on their setlist. Their energy-filled and upbeat songs like ‘Secrets’ and ‘Elevated’ get the crowd going and feeling pumped. However, the band can always swoon their fans with their acoustic songs such as ‘If I’m Lucky’ and ‘Around the World and Back’. Although, State Champs give off an incredible vibe no matter what songs they play due to their incredible stage presence. Their passion for music captivates the fans and we can’t wait to see how far it takes them.
