It was just a week ago that we proclaimed 2018 as her year, so it comes as little surprise to see Stefflon Don slaying stateside.
Apple Music have thrown their support behind her after she was named as January 2018’s Up Next artist, an accolade previously awarded to the likes of Sigrid and Mr Eazi. Stefflon Don is in fact, the first UK artist to make the list and said:
“I am really excited to be the new ‘Up Next’ Artist. Julie, Zane, Ebro and everyone at Beats 1 have been there with me from the start, and it’s great to be the first British artist to get this support from Apple Music. Can’t wait for you all to hear what I have coming this year. It’s gonna be a mad Ting!”
As part of the Up Next Series, Apple Music showcases their artists and there’s no better way than a US television debut. Stefflon Don had the chance to perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday night (January 17), and needless to say, she absolutely smashed it.
