What do you get when you mix sun, sand, and some of the biggest names in EDM? A three-day music festival in Miami, Florida that promises to send you away with the experience of a lifetime. Ultra Music Festival has grown a lot since it’s debut in 1999 and is now one of the most talked about music festivals across the board, not just in its genre. The lineup this year housed names like Zedd, Major Lazer, Martin Garrix, and Steve Aoki.
In addition, Louis Tomlinson made his Ultra debut as he and Steve performed ‘Just Hold On’ for a crowd of hundreds of thousands and we have to say, there was nothing like seeing the pair own the stage. Alone, they’re indescribably talented, but together – they’re untouchable. They feed off of each other while bringing their individual touch to the tune and fans of ‘JHO’ are already awaiting their next collaboration.
The song is monumental, and for those who have been lucky enough to witness it live, it’s more than words can describe. Up to this point, the pair just performed on stages for television. The song’s performance debut at a music festival took it to the next level. Louis’ friends, as well as Steve’s team, were on set and recording, taking photos, and telling both Steve and Louis how incredible the performance was.
Fans in the audience took to social media to say that it was one of a kind, and for a debut, Louis couldn’t have done better. He sets the bar incredibly high for himself each time he writes, sings, or performs; and he always pushes past it the next time. Both Steve and Louis are testaments to the payoff that comes with hard work and dedication. Their smiles on stage during Ultra were proof of that.
