Steve Aoki has confirmed that he is once again working with K-Pop group BTS. Last year, the two worked together on the “Mic Drop (Remix),” which released on November 24th. Upon the single’s release, the track reached the #1 position on the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart.
Aoki made the announcement in a recent interview with Trending Live, where he was asked about working with BTS on the “Mic Drop (Remix).” He recounted how the collaboration happened and said it was “just the start” because in 2018, the two will be working together again.
“And now we got some new music coming out for 2018! That’s exciting as well! So we got this remix to put out there, but now we have some more original music as well!”
Aoki added that he loves working with the BTS guys and that whenever he hangs out with them, it’s “like a party,” because they all have different personalities.
