“Make some music, drown it out,” pop artist Sarah Reeves translates her inner monologue into an uplifting, empowering single ‘Get Back Your Fight’ that had its own viral moment Reeves couldn’t deny, and she gave her fans what they wanted.
Since the age of 18, Sarah Reeves has seen it all, writings songs for other people, for film and TV, like Will Smith’s, Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon international trailer, or other television promos. She has also been featured on tracks by high-profile DJs, including Gattüso, Laidback Luke, R3HAB, and Armin Van Buuren
With this year’s releases, ‘Jealousy,’ ‘Wanna Be Here,’ and the new fiery track ‘Get Back Your Fight,’ Reeves portrays a more dynamic inward-looking conceptual approach, where she tackles mental health and a more relatable demeanor.
‘Get Back Your Fight’ illustrates Sarah Reeves in an alternative universe, growing into a fighter portraying wisdom and strength. This track feels raw and honest and is the beginning of the best of Sarah Reeves.
Reeves shares more about the inspiration: “I’ve done a lot of digging deep and healing this year, but sometimes I surprise myself when something comes up that triggers me or takes me back a few steps. It’s discouraging, but at the same time, I never want to be afraid to confront those issues that are deeply rooted in my heart. Let’s keep growing, keep healing; and don’t be too hard on yourself when you mess up. No hurt is ever wasted. We’re all in this together. Be kind to one another. I’m so glad this song is helping and connecting with so many of you.”
