Take That have gone green screen crazy in the music video for their latest single ‘Out Of Our Heads’.
Directed by Michael Baldwin, the wonderfully bonkers visual sees Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald perform their foot-stomping anthem in front of an ever changing backdrop. The psychedelic colours give off a trippy vibe, transporting us into straight back into something from the 60’s.
Alongside shots of the trio performing the song, hand clapping and playing instruments, there are occasional glimpses of dancers and instrumentalists who add to the old school feel of the visual. We also cannot forget to mention the hilarious animations during the song’s instrumental section, which showcase cartoon versions of the guys can-can dancing, whilst a cartoon Gary also break-dances and performs the splits, with Howard and Mark looking on in fear.
The music video for ‘Out Of Our Heads’ definitely stands out as one of the band’s most fun and eccentric visuals yet and perfectly matches the infectious nature of the song. It’s fantastic to see Gary, Mark and Howard truly enjoying themselves throughout.
