New Jersey based, Brazilian-American pop riser Tatiana Lima has just unveiled her latest single and music video. Called “Hollywood”, the hard-hitting rock meets pop banger is the first release of the year from this versatile artist.
With “Hollywood”, Tatiana Lima writes a song all about fame, celebrities and the toxic objectification that often occurs in the limelight. Co-produced alongside famed producer Gusten Dahlqvist (BTS, COBRAH), the metal pop song was inspired by hard rock hair bands including Guns N’ Roses as well as Judas Priest, alongside her musical hero Lady Gaga. The multi-dimensional track also includes Tatiana’s own words of affirmations, which she says to help empower herself during times of hardships. Sonically, “Hollywood” features hard-hitting gritty guitars, striking synths and soaring vocals for an enthralling and impactful listen. The music video was directed by Carl Timpone, Tatiana proclaims, “The concept for the music video centers around the idea of transformation through the exploitation of an emerging artist as she gains more attention and fame. There is a strong focus on the theme of objectification, and the constant pressure that comes with being in the public eye, particularly as a woman and an influencer.”
Tatiana Lima is a multi-dimensional artist, creator and singer who first gained attention in 2020. An affinity for crafting dramatic pop full of genre-bending elements, Tatiana Lima is one of the most exciting new artists on the rise.
