It was announced early this morning that the music video for Taylor Swift’s next single, “Out of the Woods”, will debut during New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on December 31st.
Taylor Swift is set to release the video as a part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. The annual televised celebration features hours and hours of performances that include stars such as Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, and more, all live from Times Square with Ryan Seacrest hosting. The broadcast switches East coast to West coast, from New York to Los Angeles as the party continues throughout the night. In Los Angeles, Fergie hosts the Billboard Hollywood Party with even more performances from Nick Jonas, One Direction, and 5 Seconds of Summer along with many others.

A bit earlier, the official account for New Year’s Rockin’ Eve tweeted out the promotional poster of Swift announcing the premiere of the music video.
The announcement of the debut of Taylor Swift’s music video adds to the incredible year she has had. Swift’s latest album, 1989, has sold over 8.6 million copies worldwide, with five (and counting) singles been released, each with extremely successful music videos. The music video of the remix for “Bad Blood” featuring Kendrick Lamar held the 24-Hour VEVO record with an amazing 20.1 million views before being beaten by Adele’s “Hello”. The album’s supporting tour, the 1989 World Tour, topped the Billboard Hot Tours chart grossing $15.2 million. The tour went on to be released as a concert film available only for streaming. It was released on December 20th on Apple Music.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest will air on ABC starting at 8pm eastern time on December 31st.
