The 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) are gearing up to be a dazzling affair as the nominations have been revealed, setting the stage for a star-studded celebration of global music talent. Returning to Paris for the first time since 1995, the event is slated to kick off on Sunday, Nov. 5, at the renowned Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition hall.

Leading the nominations is none other than pop sensation Taylor Swift, who has secured an impressive seven nods across various categories: Best Artist, Best Song, and Best Video. Following closely behind, are Olivia Rodrigo and SZA each with six nominations.

Additional heavy hitters include Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, and the breakout Italian rock band Ma?neskin, all earning multiple nods in various categories. The mix of nominees showcases the diverse range of musical talent dominating the global scene at the moment (all female, too).

In a nod to emerging talent, this year’s nominations include an impressive 26 first-time nominees, injecting fresh energy into the awards ceremony and underscoring the dynamic evolution of the music industry.

The 2023 MTV EMAs will be broadcast live on MTV, on Pluto TV and available on-demand on Paramount+ from Sunday, November 5, 2023.
