Today is Taylor Swift’s 29th birthday and being the queen that she is, she gave her fans a gift. The reputation Stadium Tour film is coming exclusively to Netflix New Year’s Eve morning.
It will be premiering 12:01 am pst on December 31st.
Swift thanked her dancers, band, Camila Cabello, Charli XCX, and the fans in her Instagram post. Her post also features the trailer for the film. Check it out!
According to Swift’s official team, this will not be a one-time thing. the film will Stay, Stay, Stay, so you can relive it over and over and over again.
The tour grossed $345.7 million, according to Billboard Boxscore, breaking the record for highest grossing U.S. tour. It also won The People’s Choice Award for Favorite Concert Tour and Tour of the Year at the American Music Awards.
Fans were mad that reputation was snubbed at the 2019 Grammy Awards, receiving only one nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Many Swifties, like the spies that they are, believed the concert film would be on Netflix because Netflix started following Swift on Instagram a few weeks ago, and they were right.
2018 is really going to end the reputation era and start Swift’s next chapter.
We don’t know about you, but our New Year’s plans have suddenly changed. Instead of cleaning up bottles on New Year’s Day, we will be cleaning up our tears reminiscing about the tour memories on New Year’s Eve.
So if you don’t have a Netflix account, make sure to get one or borrow a friend’s because you do not want to miss this.
Happy Birthday Taylor Swift and thank you for this. We can’t wait to see what year 29 brings!
