A New Teaser Trailer For Disney’s Descendants 2 Has Been Released

One of the most anticipated Disney films of the year is Descendants 2. The sequel will be released this summer, and teasers have been dropping over the past few months. First, we had a teaser video, then we had a behind the scenes video, next up was a “Long Live Evil” trailer, and then we had promotional posters. Now we’ve got another teaser video.

This one gives us a snippet of one of the songs that will feature in the film; titled “Wicked”, the catchy lyrics have got us all interested in the soundtrack to this sequel. But will it be as good as “Rotten To The Core”?

The short video was first posted on YouTube; however, the video is not available in certain countries. Regardless, it was also posted on the official Disney Descendants Twitter account.

In the clip, we see Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay (played by Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, and Booboo Stewart, respectively), huddled around a cauldron. The characters pour apples inside as they sing the new song “Wicked”.

The promotional clip has got us all thinking about The Evil Queen from Snow White, who poisons the Disney princess with a poisoned apple. Title character, Evie, is the daughter of The Evil Queen; so, maybe, the recipe for poison apples comes from her?

The new song “Wicked” sounds awesome, and it’s probably going to become another catchy song we won’t be able to get out of our heads.

In a previous video, Dove Cameron said: “I can tell you with absolute utter confidence; this one is going to blow the first one out of the water.” We cannot wait to watch them return to the isle.

Can you wait for the release of Disney Descendants 2? What do you make of the song “Wicked”? Tell us all your thoughts on this sequel film on Twitter @CelebMix.
