All judges and hosts of Britain’s Got Talent are to return for its 10th series in 2016, the Daily Star has revealed. In what is splendid news for fans of the hit ITV variety contest, a source revealed to the paper that “all judges have signed the dotted line. Simon made it clear all the judges were welcome back after this year’s final in May.”
The source adds fuel to the rumour of Simon’s plans to launch a US comeback by joining the America’s Got Talent panel: “In the end the only one who looked unlikely was Simon himself. He was determined to film both the UK and US versions and thankfully he has made it work”.
There was also “talk of getting guest judges to stand in for UK dates”, they claim, but that the schedule was “altered slightly” instead. It’s reported that auditions will now only take place in three cities rather than the usual 4-6, and judging by previous years, these are most likely to be London, Manchester and Birmingham.
The BGT gang will return to their judges’ seats, witnessing yet more bonkers performances, when the anniversary series starts filming in January. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below!
