The “Lost In Japan” Music Video Just Dropped

Mendes Army! Shawn Mendes took to social media today to announce the “Lost In Japan” music video. According to Mendes, it is ‘coming soon,’ which proved to be the case as he released the video tonight. 

Mendes posted on Instagram that the video was coming tonight and soon after it was released on YouTube.

Shawn Mendes waiting in an elevator singing about a girl he sees in there and then chasing after her? One can only dream of this.

We might be a couple hundred miles from Japan but we are all in the same timezone when watching this video. It’s so swoon worthy!

Many fans were expecting the release of a ‘Lost In Japan’ music video after the popularity of the song and the remix that was released. Mendes has also performed this song at multiple award and music shows.

‘Lost in Japan’ was released on March 23 off of his third, self-titled album and is one of the most popular songs from that album, reaching the Billboard Hot 100 list.

A remix version with Zedd was released on September 27th and still makes fans swoon. It became a radio hit on October 2nd.

For this album, Mendes has already released music videos for “In My Blood” and “Nervous.”
