What do you get when you pair an innovative entertainment technology platform with a popular alt rock band performing at an iconic New York venue?  You get a new type of immersive concert experience that is unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Alt rock outfit The Mowgli’s have announced a new virtual performance at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory all viewed through an app on your mobile phone. Commemorating their tenth anniversary since the group formed in 2010, this electrifying virtual debut features all their infectious hits fans know and love.

The band reveals, “When Covid hit like most artists, we were all concerned about not being able to play shows for a while. Luckily, this opportunity came our way and it’s unlike anything we’ve ever done. When we saw the technology utilized to bring the performance to life our minds were blown. Now you can enjoy a Mowgli’s concert from anywhere directly off your phone and maybe scratch that concert itch we’re all missing so much this year.”

Through this unique digital concert, fans can use their phone’s camera to virtually place the stage and from there take part in the thrilling event. From selecting The Mowgli’s stage effects to hearing the background noise from the crowd, this interactive app provides you with a truly authentic show. The virtual design of the music venue is so lifelike viewers feel as if they are actually there.

Some of The Mowgli’s recent releases include “Fighting With Yourself”, “Vacation” and “Wasting Time”, but now with COVID-19 cases rising their only option to stay connected to fans is to play virtually. With this new app they have found a creative way of doing just that. Be sure to check it out and see for yourself just how remarkable the experience can be.
