The Quarantined Continues To Prove That Music Will Unite Us Together For All The Right Reasons.

Turning personal tragedy into universal triumph is the true blueprint to The Quarantined’s evolution.

Longstanding fans of The Quarantined are definitely familiar with frontman/founder Sean Martin’s powerfully direct approach to songwriting, which has in turn cemented the band’s legacy as one of the most crucially important names within the music industry today.  Fueled by Sean’s unrelenting, raw honesty, listeners from all around the globe have formed a deep connection to the vivid nature of his lyricism and the sheer sonic depth of The Quarantined as they discovered that Martin’s perspective on a massive range of emotionally explicit subjects has thankfully been able to speak strongly on their behalf.

Such is the case for their brand-new single called “Nemesis (Friend Of Mine),” arriving on all major music platforms online this September 17th.  A song that fiercely examines the horrors of suffering abuse at the hands of those we once trusted the most, “Nemesis (Friend Of Mine)” takes on bullies, toxic friendships, betrayal, and the endurance of trauma, while also highlighting the juxtaposition of grief and forgiveness in relation to how necessary these concepts are to our survival, emotionally, physically, and mentally.  A tireless champion for the underdog, Sean’s scathing lyricism provides no shelter for the tormentors in our society, and provides no quarter for those that gaslight the innocent with their disinformation & lies.

Listen to Nemesis (friend of mine) on Spotify:

At the core of its theme, which came to Martin during one of his frequently experienced panic attacks induced nightly by an unbearable degree of PTSD, “Nemesis (Friend Of Mine)” closes a personal chapter of his own life experiences, while philosophically spiraling through the five stages of grief.  Sean’s writing always comes from an inspired attempt to help & assist others that struggle with similar circumstances, and The Quarantined’s new single is another testament to the healing power of music for one and all.  Armed with the confidence to confront any & all oppressive forces that threaten our collective peace of mind, The Quarantined has become a counterweight designed to fight back against tyranny in all forms.  A supremely dynamic anthem destined to be turned up loud and proud, “Nemesis (Friend Of Mine)” is a bold reminder that trauma can often dramatically alter our path, but it by no means has the power to define who we are, or who we’ll go on to become.  The Quarantined is humbled by their opportunity to give a voice to what so many around the world are feeling, and be the catalyst for a better future for all.
