Last week we told you how Anne-Marie has created her own YouTube series ‘Karate With Anne-Marie‘ and this week’s episode sees The Vamps jumping on board.
The video sees the quartet being put through their paces in a karate masterclass. From the moment they arrive and begin their warm-up, Anne-Marie isn’t messing around punishing them for wearing during to classes and giving them twenty press-ups each. Being the ideal teacher; she shows everything from how to pull punches, kicking and swizzling, playing some reaction time games and sparring. Before giving The Vamps a group rating of 7/10, which let’s be honest isn’t bad.
Throughout it’s made into a fun challenge with press-up punishments along the way, there’s definitely no way to be let off with a strict teacher on your case. We love how feel-good, relaxed and personal this video is just showing off a really fun side to both artists. We’d also quite like Anne-Marie to be our karate teacher. ‘Karate With Anne-Marie featuring CelebMix‘ anyone?
With Anne-Marie’s relationship with Karate, not only is she a former triple world champion in Shotokan; her debut 2015 EP also shared the same name. We love the idea of celebrities showing off something which is important to them away from the music side of their life. With her 2018 UK headline tour just round the corner, we hop to be treated to some of the moves during the tour, new dance routine? We think so! The singer has also set herself up for a busy 2019, with a run of UK and Europe dates scheduled for May and June with shows already sold out in advance.
