With 2019 just around the corner, The Vamps have taken us down memory lane in their 2018 highlights video. The video shows another side to the quartet and is a really lovely watch as we see the stolen moments shared between members off stage.

At the start of the video it feels like we’re watching a bloopers reel as we’re seeing them messing up whilst trying to record promo videos, getting a little bit tongue tied and showing us they definitely aren’t as polished as they first seem. Imagine forgetting their own tour dates and how to form an actual sentence. We mean, we’ve all been there haven’t we? We see James whilst trying to record vocals for Stumble Home with Tristan being joined by his own backing dancers quite literally behind his back as Brad and Connor have a bit too much fun. But it isn’t just all the fun they’ve had over the year, it also shows off all the hard work they’ve put in as shown in the second part of the video.

Taking us right back to the start of the year with their BRITs Week show, before taking us behind the scenes on the shoot for Hair Too Long. Giving us further insights through chats with team members including choreographer Lyndon Lloyd as HTL features a whole lot of dancing! We’re then transported into the studio to see where all the magic happens to create tracks such as Just My Type shown off in this video. Would it really be a highlights video without looking back on the incredible amount of touring which they’ve done this year. We’ve learnt through the video alone that James and irons don’t get along and Tristan and locks aren’t a great combination; watch it and you’ll see what we mean.

This video feels incredibly real, it’s just The Vamps being The Vamps and having the best time in the process. We’ve loved sharing 2018 with the quartet and we know many of you have too gaging from the response this video has received on Twitter. Giving fans a sneak peak into 2019, it’s safe to say we’re more excited than ever for what the new year is to hold for The Vamps.

Keep your eyes peeled on CelebMix for our The Vamps: Year In Review coming very, very soon.
