The Vamps might have just announced their new EP Missing You and released Right Now with Krept & Konan but they’ve still found time to auction off some of their old equipment in support of Teenage Cancer Trust.
Today it’s been announced the quartet have teamed up with music equipment marketplace Reverb for a special sale of their guitars, amps and more which have been used on their many previous tours. Over the last five years, which in turn has seen them build up a collection of equipment which as Brad Simpson reveals isn’t getting as much love as it should; “We decided to sell some of the gear we’ve toured with over the past five years on Reverb because the thought of it sitting in storage and collecting dust is quite a sad thing. Plus, we’re getting the opportunity to do some good by giving a percentage of the sales to charity,”. Find out more about The Vamps Reverb Shop from the guys themselves in the video below.
Teenage Cancer Trust are a charity the quartet have previously supported and half the proceeds from this special sale will be donated to the charity. TCT is the only UK based charity which supports those age 13 – 24 with nursing and supporting with their cancer battle.
