Actor, YouTuber, American Idol Finalist, and Television personality Todrick Hall has over 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube and has over a quarter of a billion views online, as well as his own documentary TV show on MTV called “Todrick” which premiered on August 31st, 2015. That’s quite a lot of exposure, and he’s using it all to do good!
In December 2015, Todrick started a campaign to raise money for a YouTube series called “YouWISH.” His plan was to try and raise a lot of money for people who were going through difficult times during the holidays, and Todrick, thanks to fan donations, ended up raising $20,000 and provided gifts to families all across America.
It is now 2016 and Todrick wants to continue his campaign of raising money for struggling families, children in poor areas, and people who just need some encouragement. According to the GoFundMe that Todrick set up, “Any and all amounts will be accepted and in each episode the names of all contributors will be listed. Various small prizes such as phone calls from myself, Todrick, and signed merchandise will be sent to those who donate certain sums. Even if a monetary donation isn’t possible for you, messages of love and hope will be accepted.”
