Not that it really seemed necessary, with the Fletcher family looking happier than ever with their second baby on the way and all that, but according to Instagram, Tom and Giovanna decided to spice things up a bit.
Inspired by radio presenter Matt Edmondson and his wife Bryony, the Fletchers started Alphabet-dating. The concept is pretty simple: taking turns, each partner plans a date, each date inspired by a letter.
Yesterday it was Tom’s turn, who decided to take his very pregnant spouse for afternoon tea, followed by seeing Star Wars: the Force A-wakens (not really an A-inspired activity but we’ll let it slide), ending the evening with Argentinian steak.
We think Tom set the bar pretty high with this date consisting of no less than three sort of A-inspired activities. It’ll be tough for Giovanna to live up to the expectations with her B-inspired date, that should be taking place early next month – we suggest bowling, baking, or both.
Let’s hope the Fletchers keep sharing little bits of their alphabetdates with us, just so we know what we’re missing. And if they ever run out of ideas, of course we’ll be right here to help them out.
