Tom Grennan has this week teased fans by sharing details of his new album “Everywhere I Went Led Me To Where I Didn’t Want To Be”, along with the release of the projects second single “Shadowboxing”.

Made up of 15-tracks, and set to be release August 15th, the eagerly awaited LP serves as the follow up to “What Ifs & Maybes” which debuted at No.1 on the Official Album Chart back in June 2023.

Described as being a “state-of-the-art pop album”, the record sees Tom team up with American singer/songwriter Justin Tranter (Britney Spears, Linkin Park, Dua Lipa) to explore a whole new sound.

“So much of the new music is uplifting — it makes you dance, makes you sing,” Tom says via a press release, stating his desire was to create tracks reminiscent to the material of 80s pop icons George Michael, Prince, and Freddie Mercury.

“Everywhere I Went, Led Me to Where I Didn’t Want to Be” Official Track-list:

    1. Full Attention
    2. Cool With That
    3. Shadowboxing
    4. Boys Don’t Cry
    5. Somewhere Only We Go
    6. Shadows on the Ceiling
    7. Celebrate
    8. Higher
    9. Certified
    10. Diamond
    11. Dirty Dishes
    12. Cinnamon
    13. Drama Queen
    14. I Won’t Miss A Thing
    15. Lonely Dancer

Arriving hot on the heels of his festive smash “It Can’t Be Christmas” – which immediately gained silver certification upon its release last November – Grennan’s latest single “Shadowboxing” serves as the singers first co-write with Tranter.

“‘Shadowboxing’ represents what the whole album is about,” Tom explains of the track. “It’s about my fight with a side of me I have a lot of trouble with. It’s still a daily battle. But I’ve learned how to fight all these demons and I’m mentally and physically prepared now. I’m in athlete mode.”
