Adult animated comedy series have always been a big hit amongst audiences; The Simpsons, Futurama and Rick and Morty, to name a few. And BoJack Horseman is one of those that has topped many Netflix viewers must-watch list.

BoJack Horseman revolves around the life of a sitcom horse from the ’90s, but 20 years later. The series touches on heavy topics, which makes it occasionally hard, yet touching to watch. Amongst the satirical nature surrounding Hollywood, celebrity culture, and the film industry, the underlying themes in BoJack’s life are ones some of us know all too well. This show will somehow manage to make you laugh and cry at the same time (we don’t know how they do it, but it’s genius).

The show’s fifth season arrives on Netflix on September 14th. Fans have been aching to get a glimpse of what’s to come and today is their lucky day. The trailer is everything you’d expect from BoJack Horseman and we cannot wait to see the season in its entirety.

Alongside Will Arnett as BoJack himself, the series also stars Aaron Paul as Todd Chavez, Paul F. Tompkins as Mr. Peanutbutter, Amy Sedaris as Princess Carolyn and Alison Brie as Diane Nguyen.

BoJack Horseman returns to Netflix on September 14th.
