The trailer for the movie “Dirty Thirty” starring Mamrie Hart, Grace Helbig, and Hannah Hart is out now! It was announced at a Q&A at Vidcon yesterday with Grace, Hannah and Mamrie (alternatively known as YouTube’s “Holy Trinity”).
The plot follows 3 friends Kate (Mamrie), Evie (Grace), and Charlie (Hannah), through their adventures as Kate turns 30. The movie is described as the following: “Kate is trapped in a middling job and endures a string of failed dates, while married Evie has in-laws from hell and Charlie has the girl of her dreams but can’t seem to pull her business (or her act) together. On the eve of Kate’s 30th birthday, she agrees to let Evie and Charlie throw her a party. But what’s supposed to be a simple celebration becomes a wild who’s who of past and present, and things quickly spiral out of control.” The trailer sums up their lives as “Evie is acting out, Charlie is coming out, and Kate is freaking out”. Is seems like the movie is going to be a wild ride!
The cast is a collection of both traditional film stars and YouTube stars. Alongside Grace, Hannah and Mamrie, the film features Anna Akana, Flula Borg, Rhett & Link, Chester See, Andy Ridings, Katherine Hughes, Matt Dellapina, Adam Lustick, Kelen Coleman, Drew Monson, Mikey Murphy, Lloyd Ahlquist, Ashley Lee Newton, Timothy DeLaGhetto, and Josh Leyva. This is an amazing star-studded cast, and we can’t wait to see their interactions onscreen!
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Holy Trinity act in a feature length film. The three starred in 2014 movie Camp Takota, which was a hit amongst fans of their YouTube channels. Grace and Hannah recently co-starred in Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, a revamped superhero movie. The trio has proved they have serious acting skills, and we can’t wait to see their performances in Dirty Thirty.
The film is set to be released on September 23rd in select theatres and digital HD. It will also be sold exclusively at Target starting on September 27th. For more information about the film you can visit their website!
