Move over James Corden, because everyone’s favourite celebrities are taking over for a brand new series of, “Carpool Karaoke,” which has been created exclusively for users of Apple Music. That’s right, the host of, “The Late Late Show,” is giving up his driver’s seat for some of the biggest stars around in the new spin-off series called, “Carpool Karaoke: The Series,” which is set to begin on Tuesday, 8th August.
The weekly series which will be primarily available on Apple Music will see odd and pure genius pairings, or groups, of celebrities teaming up to drive through town while singing, telling funny stories and getting into all kinds of trouble. It’s basically the same, “Carpool Karaoke,” that we all know and love but with an added twist of the stars taking the wheel instead of just the passenger seat so who knows what we’ll see when the series airs!
Well if the trailer for, “Carpool Karaoke: The Series,” is anything to go by then we are in for a treat. It features Blake Shelton toasting a drink, Will Smith crashing a wedding and John Legend making an impromptu stop in a laundromat alongside a gospel choir. What could be better?
Other celebrities who feature in the trailer and who will be taking part in the weekly series are Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Jamie Foxx, Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, John Cena, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Camila Cabello, Joe Jonas, Chelsea Handler and wait for it… The whole Cyrus clan!
Linkin Park fans will also get to see Chester Bennington make a posthumous appearance in the series as it has been reported that he filmed his episode just a few days before his death.

And no, your eyes are not deceiving you… You really did see James Corden in the trailer a couple of times. Although James won’t feature in every episode of the series, he will be popping up in a few just to shake things up so make sure to keep an eye on the backseat for him!
