After blessing us with his new single ‘My My My!’ last Friday, Troye Sivan is back at it again with the beautiful ‘The Good Side’.
The guitar-led ballad showcases a different side to Troye and is far removed from the electro-pop sound in ‘My My My!’. With lyrics such as “But I sympathize and I recognize/And baby I apologize/ That I got the good side/ The good side of things,” the song sees Troye bare his soul to a former lover, and the world. ‘The Good Side’ is an emotional offering from the singer and shows a great deal of growth in his sound.

‘The Good Side’ and ‘My My My!’ are both taken from Troye’s forthcoming sophomore album, which is due for release this Spring via Polydor Records. Fans have quickly fallen in love with his new material, with the official video for ‘My My My!’ trending at number one on YouTube after its release. The track has also garnered over 25 million streams worldwide.
Troye will be fulfilling one of his dreams this weekend as he is set to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. We can’t wait to hear him perform his new material on the show.
