Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is set to have a New York City takeover. On Friday, May 24, Good Morning America announced the K-pop group will be performing live on their show in exactly one week. The news means SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI will be in the Big Apple earlier than expected since they’re also performing at Madison Square Garden next weekend.
The quintet will have two back-to-back concerts at the legendary venue on June 1 and 2. Although they’ve previously performed at Madison Square Garden in 2019 as part of KCON, they’ve never headlined until now. The shows will be just two stops on their highly successful 2024 world tour, TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <ACT: PROMISE> in US.
Earlier this month, TXT kicked off their trek with three concerts at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. After wrapping up their final performance on May 5, the group began the U.S. leg of their tour in Tacoma, Washington, on May 14. Since then, they’ve taken their tour to California with shows in Oakland and Los Angeles. Next, they’re set to perform in Houston, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia, before heading to New York City for their mini residency at Madison Square Garden.
TXT’s ACT : PROMISE tour is in support of their sixth mini album, minisode 3: TOMORROW. According to Forbes, the EP debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, making it the group’s fifth appearance on the chart’s Top 10. The project dropped earlier this year on April 1 via Big Hit Music and Republic Records. It was led by the hit single “Deja Vu,” which has amassed over 60 million streams on Spotify since its release.
