Five-piece boy band United Vibe – comprising of members Blaise, Elliot, Jon, Jack and Kieran – were immediately eliminated from the competition, receiving the fewest public votes.
The boy band were first put together at the Six Chair Challenge stage of the competition, after first auditioning as solo artists. On Saturday night’s Live Show, which had the theme of ‘Fright Night,’ they performed Leona Lewis hit ‘Bleeding Love.’
Following United Vibe’s elimination, host Dermot O’Leary announced that duo Acacia & Aaliyah and Molly Scott were in the sing-off, having to fight for their place in the competition. Their status in the competition was then to be decided by Judges Simon Cowell, Louis Tomlinson, Ayda Field-Williams and Nile Rodgers, who is replacing Robbie Williams, due to his other commitments.
In the sing-off, Molly Scott gave an impressive vocal performance, but unfortunately the Judges voted to keep Acacia & Aaliyah in the competition.
Molly Scott performed Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’ on the ‘Fright Night’ Live Show and from her first audition, her incredible vocals have impressed the Judges.
On Sunday’s Results Show, James Arthur took to the stage to perform his emotional new single ‘Empty Space.’
