We all at CelebMix are wishing a really good one to former The Vampire Diaries actress who turned 27 today.
Unfortunately, her 26th year had a not-so-good start. Few days before her birthday, Nina’s ex-boyfriend and castmate Ian Somerhalder got engaged to his new girlfriend Nikki Reed. However, if Nina was distressed she never let it show. She fortunately had good friends by her side during those days and preoccupied herself with her new movies The Final Girls and Let’s Be Cops.
Sadly for fans, in April, the gorgeous actress announced that she’d be leaving The Vampire Diaries after the 6th season. The audience was heartbroken over the news; they had to say goodbye to their beloved character Elena. On May 14, aTVD aired the final episode that Nina appeared in. She accepted her final award for the series on the Teen Choice Awards, then she moved on to her life’s next chapter.
After some Internet rumors that claimed Nina was spotted with a new boy, it was finally confirmed on Twitter that bombshell started dating Austin Stowell, Dolphin Tale star, and her days became a total dream. We really can’t get over this totally adorable couple. Since they’ve started dating, they’ve taken romantic vacations together as well as a recent holiday ski trip.
The amazing travel and adventure photos she’s posted on Twitter about St.Tropez, Hawaii, and many more show us that Nina doesn’t feel blue at all – she swam with sharks, did handstands on the beach, returned to her family roots in Bulgaria, hung out on a yacht. As we all can see, Nina’s been spreading her wings and is flying like a butterfly.
The end of her 26th year clearly turned around and things seem to be going really well for Nina. Fans are getting excited to see what year 27 has to bring for this beautiful girl!
