The Vampire Diaries Season 8 teaser has been released and it looks like Stefan and Bonnie are on a mission to get their favourite vampires back! Whilst the teaser shows the four reunited pretty quickly, it seems that getting them to turn from the dark side back to the good is going to be a much longer process.

Damon and Enzo were possessed by something we still have no clue about (all we know is that it has a finger) in the Armory. The last moments of Season 7 showed that Damon and Enzo had already been on one of many killing sprees when we saw all the bodies hanging in a warehouse.
Bonnie has more to lose than anyone else throughout this season, as her best friend and boyfriend have gone back to their old ways and ventured on killing sprees. As this witch will be without her powers for a while, Bonnie is going to have to be creative if she wants to get her boys back!

Executive producer, Julie Plec, revealed that Damon’s new master has a plan that will be revealed eventually. “Damon has unfortunately become a little bit of a servant to an evil who has an opinion on what should happen to people who do bad things. He’s a little minion at the moment, and we’ll have to learn who he’s a minion for and why.”
It seems that there may be a few helping hands from characters we’ve not seen for a while as rumours say Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood) will be returning to Mystic Falls.
The Vampire Diaries, Season 8, premieres Friday, October 21st.
