Multiple artists, including the likes of Sia and P!nk, will be covering songs by The Beatles for the soundtrack to Beat Bugs, a new animated children’s series on Netflix.

Beat Bugs follows the adventures of five bugs; Jay, Kumi, Crick, Buzz, and Walter, as they explore an overgrown backyard, which to them, is the entire universe. They learn some important life lessons along the way to the tune of over 50 songs from the Lennon/McCartney Northern Songs catalog!

Sia’s cover of Blackbird, P!nk’s cover of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, and Eddie Vedder’s cover of Magical Mystery Tour were all both featured in the official trailer and got their own mini-trailers. Each mini-trailer shows a clip from the scene where the song is used in the show, with the characters singing along, of course!

There are many more artists confirmed to be covering a song that will be featured in the show! These include: Tori Kelly, Aloe Blacc, James Corden, Rod Stewart, Jennifer Hudson, Of Monsters and Men, Regina Spektor, The Shins, James Bay, Chris Cornell, Frances, The Lumineers, and Robbie Williams.

All 13 episodes of the first season of the show will air on Netflix on Wednesday, August 3rd. The accompanying soundtrack will be released exclusively to Apple Music on the same day.
