Consisting of 11 members, Wanna One formed on the second season of reality television program Produce 101 by South Korean entertainment company CJ E&M. The group debuted in August of 2017 and have since released singles such as “Energetic” and “Boomerang,” as well as two EPs, 1×1=1 (To Be One) and 0+1=1 (I Promise You).
Although the group has only been together for less than a year, they have already earned several awards from major Korean award ceremonies, including the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disc Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards, Melon Music Awards, and Gaon Chart Music Awards.
As well as their concerts for their “One: The World” tour, Wanna One will also be performing in the United States for KCON 2018 NY on June 23 and 24 in Newark, New Jersey. They are the first group to have been announced for the festival. They previously attended KCON LA in 2017.
