For the past several years UK country music duo Ward Thomas have shared their SnugSessions on YouTube. The videos see the twin sisters covering hit songs such as Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ and Shawn Mendes’ ‘Stitches’ along with acoustic versions of their own singles.
These videos gained thousands of views and fans adored seeing the girls putting their own country spin on pop classics. The last SnugSession was the twins’ version of Carole King’s huge smash-hit ‘You’ve Got A Friend’. The video was uploaded to YouTube on October 28th, 2016.
The clip has been watched more than 40,000 times and Carole even praised the version on Twitter.

And following the success of their YouTube SnugSessions, Ward Thomas have announced another video series; Doormat Sessions. The new clips will be uploaded to Instagram every Friday and will see the record breaking duo performing a 40 second cover on their doormat.
They kicked off the Doormat Sessions on Friday, February 23rd with their sublime version of Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton’s duet ‘Say Something’, with the caption “Because the #BRITs were on Wednesday and we LOVE this song we thought we would kick off our #doormatsessions (which will be a song every Friday) ? #SaySomething @justintimberlake @chrisstapleton” sic
