Last week, we were all having the major feels when BTS dropped their music video for “Boy With Luv” (we are still are, tbh). From all the Singing in the Rain references to BTS and Halsey‘s interactions, we seriously couldn’t get enough of the video. We watched it so many times on repeat and lots of ARMYs did too, so much that it broke the record for the biggest YouTube debut of all-time with 74.6 MILLION VIEWS. Yes, you read that right, 74.6 million. The BTS ARMY is not one to be messing around.
Today, iHeartRadio shared a video of BTS reacting to those ARMYs that watched “Boy With Luv” and their reactions were absolutely adorable. BTS gathered around to watch their fans’ reactions and they couldn’t help but smile and laugh over how happy ARMY was seeing “Boy With Luv” for the first time. “You guys made us so happier, RM,” said. Seeing the video made us remember how special the bond is between BTS and their ARMY.
“Boy With Luv” is from BTS’ newest album, Map of the Soul: Persona, which released on Friday, April 12th. It followed their trilogy of Love Yourself albums, two of which, Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer, debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 albums charts. Map of the Soul: Persona is also heading for the No.1 spot on the chart, which will make it BTS’ third album overall.
The day after the group dropped their new album, they made their debut on Saturday Night Live, where they announced that they will be performing “Boy With Luv” with Halsey for the first time at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday, May 1st.
The performance will occur while the group will be in the United States for their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself stadium world tour.
