Watch Halsey Perform “Nightmare” and a Cover Of Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker” in Radio 1’s Live Lounge

Halsey dropped into Radio 1’s Live Lounge to perform her new single ‘Nightmare’ and a cover of the Jonas Brothers’ ‘Sucker’.

Stripping down her punk-fuelled track ‘Nightmare’ to its bare pieces, we’re able to feel every raw emotion in the song in a new light. Halsey’s cover of the Jonas Brothers’ comeback single ‘Sucker’ sees it slowed down to a slick and smooth jazz-inspired tune – like something you’d imagine hearing in a local bar. The two different renditions of these two incredible songs accentuate Halsey’s musical ability to a whole other level.

This isn’t the first time Halsey’s performed in the Live Lounge either. She made her debut in 2016 with a performance of ‘New Americana’ and a cover of The 1975’s ‘The Sound’. Returning again in 2018, she covered Juice WRLD’s ‘Lucid Dreams’ and performed her chart-topping hit single ‘Without Me’. She’s come a long way, and with each Live Lounge appearance, we’re gifted with another dose of Halsey’s immense talent.

Mark Ronson will be opening the show which you’ll be able to watch from 2:30 pm on CapitalFM.

Whilst in London, Halsey is also performing a one-off intimate live show at Electric Ballroom, Camden on the 10th June. It’s going to be a night you don’t want to miss but leaves us hoping for a full UK/EU tour to be announced soon!
