A new commercial has arrived by Fox online for the upcoming sci-fi sequel ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ just ahead of its release date 24 June.
The sequel, which is supposed to take place 20 years after the events of Roland Emmerich‘s original, also features Brent Spiner‘s returning character Dr. Brakish Okun, but the full cast includes stars like Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, and Sela Ward.
Independence Day 2 is being directed by Roland Emmerich again, moreover, the producer Dean Devlin is back onboard with Harald Kloser after the success of the original film, which literally exploded onto the cinema screens.

Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet.
