Festival season is officially underway so let’s throw it all the way back to two weeks ago when CelebMix headed down to Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Hull. Read our full review of the weekend here.
As well as watching the world’s biggest artists perform, we spoke to the most important people at Big Weekend: you! Watch what went down:
Over two days, tens of thousands of music fans piled into Burton Constable Hall to watch their favourite artists take to the stage. The weekend was headlined by Katy Perry and King’s of Leon, with big names Shawn Mendes, Little Mix, Stormzy and Lorde also lined up.
We chatted to a few of you to find out who was the best performer and who you were most excited to see. Consensus: everyone loves Little Mix and Bastille are a crowd favourite.
CelebMix also caught up with YouTuber Joe Tasker, who had nothing but praise for Bastille’s performance. He said: ‘They know how to put on a show. It was very entertaining.’
The Signing Tent saw hundreds of fans meet their favourite artists and Radio 1 DJs. We chatted to excited fans after their Meet & Greet with Dua Lipa, with the singer telling us she was ‘really excited’ about her upcoming performance.
