Back in May 2018, it had been announced that Ryan Reynolds would be up for his very first movie for Netflix. Over the course of the last few months, we’d been given more and more information about said movie bit by bit, like the title, 6 Underground. Now, months after the title reveal, we’ve been given the treat we’re all been waiting for: the trailer!
The Netflix production will let us experience some action with a proper mix of amazing actresses and actors. Next to Raynolds (Deadpool), the action movie stars Mélanie Laurent, the French actress from Inglourious Basterds and Now You See Me, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo from The Magnificent Seven, and Adria Ariona, the model and actress from Pacific Rim: Uprising and the series Good Omens. Bohemian Rhapsody‘s Ben Hardy and The Walking Dead‘s Corey Hawkins will also star in the film.
Remembering the names of each of the characters is going to be easy, as Ryan Reynolds will be playing “One”, Mélanie Laurent “Two”, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo “Three”, Ben Hardy “Four”, Adria Arjona “Five”, Dave Franco will be named “Six” and yes, there’s going to be a “Seven” which is going to be played by Corey Hawkins. The reason for the names is because the film follows Reynolds, the billionaire, who’s going to pick the best in their significant jobs, make them fake their deaths in order to take down criminals and change not just their own lives, but also the world – in a way.
