After a long wait, Sam Smith has finally released the music video for his new song “Writing’s On The Wall”, which is the official theme song of the upcoming James Bond movie, Spectre. The video, as well as the movie, was filmed in Rome and consists of scenes from the movie.
The song is the first James Bond single to reach #1 in U.K. singles chart. Smith told Official Charts, “It was such an honour to be asked to write and record Writing’s On The Wall and it’s incredible that it’s become the first Number 1 Bond theme song.
“It’s been an unforgettable experience working with Barbara [Broccoli] and Sam [Mendes] to become part of this British legacy. I couldn’t have done this without my fans – this is a special moment I’ll never forget.”
