WATCH: The trailer for The Band Musical featuring Take That, Robbie Williams and Five to Five

Ahead of tickets going on sale next week, the first trailer for The Band, a new musical featuring the music of Take That, has been released.

Earlier this year, Take That frontman Gary Barlow was head judge on the BBC talent show Let It Shine, which saw men from across the country compete to be a part of The Band, who will star in the new musical. The winners were Five to Five, made up of AJ Bentley, Curtis T Johns, Nick Carsberg, Sario Solomon and Yazdan Qafour.

The first trailer for the musical sees Gary, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams walk towards the camera, as Five to Five appear from behind them. Standing together in line, Take That and Robbie hand their microphones to the band, before the Five to Five lads jump in the air, in a scene which emulates the cover of Take That’s 1992 debut album, Take That and Party.

Tickets for The Band go on sale on Monday April 3 at 12pm from the official website. The tour will kick off in Manchester’s Opera House on September 8, and will tour the UK through until July 2018.
