The year of 2018, has so far, been an exceedingly amazing year for Olly Murs fans. On the 24th February, Olly was the guest announcer for the first episode, of the 2018 series of ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’. Which we think was simply wonderful. Which all of the Olly fans watching that night, must have thought so too. Olly was on two ‘ITV’ shows that night. He was on both, ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’, and ‘The Voice UK’.
At the ‘Brit Awards 2018’, Olly had the role of, presenting the award for ‘best video’. He was accompanied on stage, by fellow ‘The Voice UK’ coaches, Jennifer Hudson, and Sir Tom Jones. Regrettably, Olly has never won a Brit award. Despite this, Olly declared that if Harry Styles won the award, he had a plan to steal the award. However, Harry is presumably hoping that Olly was just having a friendly joke. Olly posted on his Instagram account, a picture of himself, clutching Harry’s award. Stating in the caption, “Congrats & Thanks, @harrystyles mate for the Brit! I’ll look after it for ya”.
On ‘Good Morning Britain’ Thursday 8th March 2018, Olly confirmed, he has been back in the studio working on new music. We love new music. It is also clear to see that there is a high level of enthusiasm resonating, among Olly fans.
During an episode of the blind auditions of ‘The Voice UK’, Olly stated that he will be touring next year, this has got to be, undeniably amazing news. The only thing we currently know about his 2019 tour, is that it will yet again be a very highly anticipated tour.
With ‘The Voice UK’ live final set to air on Saturday 7th April, will team Olly take victory? That surely would make 2018 the best year to be an Olly Murs fan.
