They’ve done everything from Hip-Hop to R&B to Dance-Pop and New-Wave.
The girls of Little Mix have quite literally experimented with every genre and done it all.
From their debut album, DNA, that helped them break a world record, to Salute, a critically acclaimed sophomore piece of work praised for it’s 90’s influence and tight harmonies ala Destiny’s Child and En Vogue: now, Little Mix are more than ready and prepared to release their third album, Get Weird, next month.
It’s not easy breaking through the U.S. market but once it’s done, the possibilities can and could be endless.
Knowing that girl groups haven’t made a comeback since Destiny’s Child, it’s nice to know that the girl group gap has finally been filled with amazing talent.
If you haven’t heard these girls singing acapella or you’ve never heard of them at all then let us be your introduction to them.
Say hello to Little Mix – consisting of members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, the girls have slowly taken over the world selling nearly 10 million records worldwide since their formation in 2011.
They are extremely talented and by extremely I mean EXTREMELY. This video below pretty much sums up why they deserve all the attention from the public.
Seriously. The talent is real guys. We tried harmonizing like them and it was so bad you could hear the weeping of children all across the world.
It’s terrifying – but you won’t be terrified when you hear the amazingly talented LITTLE MIX.
Take it away gals!
P.S. – They’ve worked with greats like Missy Elliott and T-Boz from TLC. Now we can all safely assume getting artists like these to collaborate with can’t be that easy. Luckily, these two ladies can obviously spot talent in an instant and its pretty safe to say they found that in Little Mix.
Anyway, we could go on and on with why we believe they should get nominated for all the awards in the world but we’ll let their talent speak for itself. Enjoy you lovely people! x
