William Patrick Corgan (aka Billy Corgan) of the Smashing Pumpkins performed “The Spaniards” on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The song is from Corgan’s latest album, Ogilala, which is his second solo album that released on October 13, 2017.
Corgan is also joined by Jade Puget, known for being the guitarist of AFI, who is playing rhythm guitar so Billy is able to have some nice guitar solos.

When asked about the possibility of a Smashing Pumpkins reunion in a recent interview with Spin Magazine, Corgan had this to say:
“But I will say to the world, be careful what you wish for, because if we do come back in any format, we’re going to punch people’s heads in. It won’t be the shy, retiree “roll around with our walkers” spree. We’ll go right back to being the band that we are—not even were, the band that we are. People, rightly so, will often attach a lot of the whole group’s polemic mission to me. Fine, I was out front, I was writing the songs. But trust me, the other three were just as big of bastards. We enjoy taking on the New York snobs. We love punching people right in the guts where the hypocrisy grows.”
WPC’s latest upcoming tour dates are on November 10, 11, and 12 at The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles, California on. Unfortunately, tickets are currently sold out and no further shows have been announced.
