It’s almost the final of The X Factor! The song choices for the semi-final this weekend have been released, with the contestants each singing a Christmas-themed song as decided by the Jukebox as well as a song they feel will get them to the final.
Each judge has one contestant left, and at this stage of the show, song choice is crucial in securing a place in the final!
Emily Middlemas, mentored by Simon Cowell, will sing John Lennon’s ‘War Is Over’ for her first song. For her second song, she will be singing Gary Jules’ ‘Mad World.’
Matt Terry, mentored by Nicole Scherzinger, will be signing a Christmas classic ‘Silent Night’ as his first song. For his second song, he will be singing Jessie Ware’s ‘Say You Love Me.’
Saara Aalto, mentored by Sharon Osbourne, will take on Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ and for her second song, she will sing Sia’s ‘Chandelier.’
5 After Midnight, who are mentored by Louis Walsh, will be singing East 17’s ‘Stay Another Day’ as their Christmas-themed song and for the song they feel will get them to the final, the trio – Kieran, Jordan and Nathan – will sing Stevie Wonder’s ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours).’
