On Thursday night we were invited to Sam Bailey’s album launch, which was amazing and really showed the down to earth Sam Bailey that we all know and love.
During the course of the evening, Sam performed a number of songs from her upcoming album, which she describes as giving everyone a piece of her because there is that much emotion and experiences in the song.
A song that particularly stood out was Don’t Cry For Me, and although we never actually got to hear Sam perform it, there was an incredibly moving story behind the inspiration for the song.
Sam opened up abut her struggle with Bell’s palsy and said that an incident in which she took too many tablets, really made her value her life and treasure every day. Considering this, Sam took the perfect opportunity to tell her husband just how much she loves him.
Searching for her husband Craig in the room, Sam eventually found him and shouted over the microphone that she loved him so much. You can really tell the amount of effort that Sam has put into this album and it really has paid off. Sam also performed her new single, Sing My Heart Out which is now available on iTunes.
But what’s next for Sam? Well, to start with, this incredible album is amazing and when it is released later this year, we highly suggest you all go a buy a copy.
