Years & Years are continuing to spark excitement surrounding their forthcoming sophomore album Palo Santo with the release of its title track.
Whilst their previous release ‘If You’re Over Me’ offered a slice of euphoric pop, ‘Palo Santo’ showcases a different, darker side to the trio. Frontman Olly Alexander shines during the stirring ballad, with his captivating vocals at the forefront. Whilst the track is their most poignant offering yet, ‘Palo Santo’ still has the signature Years & Years feel to it.
Just when we thought we couldn’t love ‘Palo Santo’ more, earlier today, a Vevo exclusive live video was also unveiled. The video sees Olly deliver a stunning performance of the song, bursting with emotion.
‘Palo Santo’ is taken from the album of the same name, which is due for release on July 6. Years & Years will be celebrating the release with a special launch party at London’s Roundhouse on July 10.
