We have been awaiting the arrival of “Still Got Time” ever since Zayn Malik’s surprise announcement earlier this week. When the 24-year-old nonchalantly hinted that his latest single was set to drop “soon,” we had no idea that meant only two days later.
After teasing a snippet of new music and artwork to go along, “Still Got Time” was officially released on Thursday, the lead single off of Malik’s upcoming sophomore album. He linked up with Canadian rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR on the mellow track, who has previously worked alongside Drake and penned Rihanna’s “Work.” The two’s hot collaboration is destined to be a smash as their alluring and velvety-smooth vocals compliment one another’s over a tropical beat. “Still Got Time” features production from Frank Dukes and Murda Beatz as well.
Subsequently to its availability, “Still Got Time” was trending worldwide on Twitter. Fans took to the social media outlet to share their desire for the track and anticipation for the “Pillowtalk” hitmaker’s LP, slated to drop this summer according to a recent press release from RCA.

Malik’s first album Mind of Mine debuted almost twelve months ago. Its success led to his leap to number one on both the U.S. Billboard Top 200 chart and Official U.K. Albums chart. The former 1D member became the first U.K. solo artist to do so. Most recently, his Fifty Shades Darker duo with Taylor Swift has been sitting in Hot 100’s top five since earlier this year, peaking at the number two position.
