Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins Announce New Holiday Campaign

Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins Announce New Holiday Campaign 1

“We are very grateful to have this Supernatural family surrounding us with love, and so we are endeavoring to spread that around the world.”

– Misha Collins

Christmas is the time for giving back, and every year, the Supernatural cast does their best to promote that very message.

For the 2015 holiday season, Jared Padalecki, the skilled actor who portrays Sam Winchester, celebrated by holding the “Holiday #AlwaysKeepFighting Campaign”.

Like his many other AKF (Always Keep Fighting) campaigns, it was a wild success. Thousands of clothing items were sold, which raised money for The PACK Fund. This fund, created jointly by Jared and Jensen Ackles, distributes money to charities they select, such as To Write Love On Her Arms and Random Acts.

This year, not only is the tradition continuing, but the greatness has multiplied by three.

During the last few days of December, Jared, along with Jensen and Misha Collins, began posting some interesting messages on their social medias.

Jensen didn’t tweet anything himself, but he retweeted Misha’s.

Since the beginning, Supernatural has always been huge on the importance of family. The cast doesn’t even call the fans of the show a fandom — they call them the SPN Family. Because of this, the event wasn’t labeled as just a livestream. The trio decided to call it a “family meeting”, since it involved not only Jared, Jensen, and Misha, but their supporters as well.

Aw.

So on December 1st, the three came together for a special SPN Family livestream. They were all smiles and giggles, their eyes full of the expression they are and always have promoted; love.

The last campaign from the Supernatural cast, “Family Always Has Your Back”, only involved Jared and Jensen. This time around, for the first time ever, J2 and Misha will all be participating together for “Supernatural Family Love”.

From now until December 15th, fans can purchase the above design on multiple clothing items; a hoodie, a v-neck, and a regular tee. Also, because of Jared’s love for winter apparel, regular and slouch beanies are available as well. Depending on the item chosen, the prices range from $19.99 (regular beanie) to $39.99 (hoodie).

While a lot of the campaigns are done through Represent, “Supernatural Family Love” is being run through Creation Stands. Creation Stands is a part of Creation Entertainment, which is the company that organizes and runs the official Supernatural conventions.

On the campaign’s page, Jared, Jensen, and Misha left a short letter addressed to the SPN Family. Not only does it further show their appreciation and love towards them, but they explained where some of the profits will be going as well.

Sometimes it’s hard to see past all the hatred in the world, but people like Jared, Jensen, and Misha serve as good reminders that love is still out there. While some choose to put their energy into bullying and discriminating, J2M put theirs toward making the world a more welcoming and loving place. The world seriously needs more people like them.

If you’d like to support both the Supernatural guys and families in need this holiday season, make sure to check out their campaign here. There, you can not only buy items off of the campaign, but you can share the message as well. Jared, Jensen, and Misha are currently aiming to sell five thousand items. If it’s anything like their past campaigns, they’ll go way above and beyond that goal.
